THIS AMAZING LAMP IS A 2-WIRE LED TRI-COLOR AND 360 DEGREE ANCHOR LIGHT COMBINATION LIGHT (AND STROBE), IN A SINGLE COMPACT AND INEXPENSIVE FIXTURE.  

Now you can forget about big, ugly, fragile, and expensive tri-color navigation light fixtures, along with all the wiring, switches, and fuses they require.  

While this looks like an ordinary anchor light fixture, it is actually a Tri-Mode fixture.  This means it is an LED anchor light, an LED tri-color, and a high intensity emergency strobe light all in one compact fixture.  The best part is that it has a 2-wire hookup, so it needs no additional wiring or switches to make it operate.

You can also forget about turning on and off the anchor light every night and each morning when on the hook, thanks to an on-board dusk-to-dawn sensor (active only in the anchor light mode, of course).  This feature may also be bypassed if preferred.

Tri-colors are used for enhanced safety when sailing offshore at night.  The have Red and Green (port and starboard) 112.5° sectors facing forward, on the boats center-line, and a 135° white sector facing aft.  They significantly increase your sailing vessel's visibility over the horizon.  Every offshore cruiser needs one, but many cruisers forgo installing one because of the expensive fixtures and the significant hassle of installing all the additional wiring up the mast, along with the extra fuses, switches, and deck glands needed.

How does it work? 

Our LED Tri-Mode has all these features in one fixture thanks to its smart LED bulb, which has an on-board micro-processor that recognizes the timing of the on/off sequence of your existing switch to change the lighting modes.  You simply turn the lamp on, then off again to switch through the modes.  It always defaults to the anchor light mode first. The strobe mode has an additional delay required between switching to prevent inadvertent activation.

This fixture exceeds all of the requirements under COLREG 72 for both All-Around Anchor and Tri-Color use on boats up to 20 Meters.
